"Everyone's so into money, rearrange" Sure enough once you graduate high school you got to figure out what school you're going to attend. Maybe you're not sure right off the bat of what kind of career you want, that's fine. So when you're picking your classes you go for the general classes seeing as you would need to take them regardless of knowing your major or not. Then towards the end of your first year in college, if you haven't already decided, you start realizing that now would be the time to really think about what you'd like to do as a career. Coming from your traditional filipino family, being a nurse, accountant, med tech, or anything within the medical field for that matter, have been your options. To that I say...FUCK THAT. I have decided to continue pursuing fashion design and merchandising because I love it. I love what fashion has come to, and at the same time know that I can be apart of what it will become in the future. MONEY. Much of your life revolves around dollar signs. Why? well 1) it's a means of survival in our world 2) nice to have 3) even nicer to spend. I like money, who the fuck doesn't. But money does NOT make you happy. You make yourself happy. That's why I don't care how much a nurse will make, 6 figures or not. I want a job that I want to love going to every single day until the day I turn 65. Man for awhile I've been playing the same scenerio in my head which was: I will make moves in the fashion industry that no one has ever seen. I've also realized that I have become somewhat impatient. But more importantly, I've become somewhat a super believer. If you truly believe, like really really believe, it'll happen for you. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. K, just thought I'd boost mines and yours' self esteem in case you were feeling any doubts.
